A foundation of faith,
a lifetime of learning.

A faith-rooted school in Jericho, Ibadan, where classes stay small enough that every child is known by name — and every parent is treated as a partner, not a number.

A school that feels
like coming home.

Most schools are designed for efficiency. Channel Christian School was designed for children.

Founded by Mrs. Abidemi Olumide — a mother of triplets with 27 years in education — this school started with a simple conviction: young children learn best when they feel genuinely safe. Not managed. Not processed. Safe.

That is why we keep our classes small and build every relationship with care. Biblical values run through everything we teach — not as an add-on, but as the foundation.

We also want our children to know where they come from. From this school year, a Yoruba club sits alongside the curriculum, and we explore Nigerian cultures more widely — language, food, and the ceremonies that carry them.

Every child here is known. Every family is welcomed. That is not a promise we make lightly.

Every stage,
held with care.

From your newborn's first months to your child's first years of formal learning, each programme is built around where your child actually is — not where we need them to be.

Every child is different. Book a personal visit and we'll walk you through each programme together, so you can choose with confidence.

What makes
this different.

01 / 04

A faith-rooted foundation

Biblical principles are not a subject we teach. They are the lens through which everything is taught, shaping character and intellect together.

02 / 04

Small by design

We keep class sizes small on purpose. Every child is known by name. Every milestone is noticed. Every challenge is caught early.

03 / 04

You are a partner, not a number

You will hear from us before you have to ask. Questions get a same-week answer, concerns get a conversation, and the person you speak to is the person who knows your child.

04 / 04

Ready for what comes next

Reading and numbers are the floor, not the ceiling. We teach the habits that outlast exams — curiosity, resilience, courtesy, and the confidence to stand up and speak.

Four things we will
not compromise on.

Choosing a school is not only a practical decision. These are the convictions the school is built on, said plainly, so you can tell early whether they are yours too.

  1. 01

    Faith-filled purpose

We teach as though every child arrived with a purpose already attached — because we believe they did. That belief changes how a teacher speaks to a four-year-old.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.

    Jeremiah 1:5
  2. 02

    Guided growth

Character is not a subject on the timetable, and it is not something a school can do alone. We work with you on it, in the same direction, week after week.

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

    Proverbs 22:6
  3. 03

    Future-ready confidence

The world our children will work in does not exist yet. So we build the things that travel: curiosity, resilience, courtesy, and the nerve to speak up.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

    2 Timothy 1:7
  4. 04

    Community and legacy

Family, school, and church pulling the same way. What a child learns here should still be visible in the family they raise decades from now.

A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children.

    Proverbs 13:22

What parents say.

I've seen a wonderful change in my son's attitude to learning — he approaches his home assignments with real eagerness now. His writing, colouring and coordination have improved remarkably, and I'm grateful to his teachers for their patience and care.
